The Kidde® Basic Home Safety Kit includes the Basic Fire Extinguisher, the Battery-Operated Carbon Monoxide Alarm and the Fire Sentry™ Battery-Operated 4” Smoke Alarm.

The Basic Fire Extinguisher is a single-use fire extinguisher with 1.5 lbs. of fire extinguishing agent. It’s effective on flammable liquids and electrical fires. Features include a powder-coated cylinder for corrosion protection, a pressure gauge with at-a-glance status and an easy-to-pull safety clip. Strap bracket included. UL rated 5-B:C. 5-year limited warranty. Dimensions: 10.95” H x 3.25” W.

The Battery-Operated Carbon Monoxide Alarm includes a slide-out battery door for immediate access to the batteries and a safety feature that makes it difficult to close the door without the batteries being installed. Inside cover of battery door features a quick reference guide for what to do in case of an alarm. Additional features include a low-battery hush, a battery lockout system, event memory, a test/reset button and LED lights. This easy-to-install alarm is suitable for all living areas and has a 10-year life and a 10-year limited warranty. Includes two AA batteries.

The Fire Sentry™ Battery Operated 4” Smoke Alarm is a battery-operated smoke alarm that utilizes ionization sensing technology. The 4” unit is smaller in diameter, giving it a discreet design with the same quality you would expect in a Kidde product. The alarm is powered by a 9V battery (included), providing continuous protection, even during power outages. This easy-to-install unit includes a test button to verify the detection electronics are working as intended. UL Listed and includes a 3-year limited warranty. Additional features include a test button and low-battery indicator.
